Pochade Box

Pochade (from French Poch, pocket or Pocher meaning to sketch) is a small, quick painted sketch, usually rendered in oils. The Pochade Box, is a small portable "studio", holding canvases, brushes, paints and any other items that can fit in.

Ricardo made and designed his own pochade box. It holds 6 canvases of 20cm (8") x 15cm (6"), that can safely be stored, wet within the box as well as brushes, paints, turps and a small light for night time painting, to illuminate the painting and palette. The box can attach to a camera tripod, or be held close to the chest with the strap.
